February Tasty Tuesday Wine Pairing Recipe
Jambalaya paired with InVINtions' Cool Climate Pinot Noir

Each month in 2023, stop in to find delicious recipes perfectly paired with our InVINtions' wine! For February, we feature a recipe for Jambalaya that pairs beautifully with InVINtions' Cool Climate Pinot Noir.
Jambalaya featuring InVINtions'
Cool Climate Pinot Noir
Ingredients:
- Two 8 oz. boxes of jambalaya mix
- ½ lb. ground sausage
- 1lb ground 80/20 beef
- 1 package sausage links, cut in rounds
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 can diced fire-roasted tomatoes
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Cajun seasoning or to taste
- Oil
Directions:
- Pan fry sausage link rounds until they start to brown. Set aside.
- Brown ground beef and ground sausage with salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, 1/4 of the bell pepper, 1/4 of the onion, and garlic.
- Add soup, jambalaya mix, and tomatoes, and sauté for five minutes.
- Add stock and sausage rounds.
- Simmer with bay leaves for 20 minutes.
- Add the remainder of the bell pepper and onion, and simmer for 5 more minutes.
- Remove bay leaves from pot, serve in bowls, and enjoy with a glass of InVINtions’ Cool Climate Pinot Noir!
